🔎 Supraland Six Inches Under Overview

The six-inch tall Supraland is the first person to be Metroidvania. This means that you are in a gated world and the more you collect your abilities, the more parts of the world you can access. The gameplay consists of about 55% exploration, 40% puzzle solving and 5% fighting. The adventure will take between 8-20 hours. - Has no skills at all - Hundreds of gags - 2 funny gags compared to the first Supraland game: - Half of the player's abilities are the same and the other half are new - Puzzles are simpler in the main track; Challenging puzzles are mostly optional - There's less combat and all kinds of enemies are new - Lots of optional content, much of which can only be accessed after the credits - Almost all music was built for the game while the first Supraland used inexpensive, licensed music - Credits shown hours ago Few from the first game but more significant content at the end of the game The story behind the game “Six Inches Under” was a small side project created to introduce new members of the development team to our tools and workflow. It's basically our preparation for the Supraland sequel. While David Münnich played the first Supraland largely alone, he had a smaller role in this one. This person's core team was made up of 6 people. Almost everyone on the team has built one or two areas of the game world and in this sense it is very experimental. It was supposed to be a little extra content for Supraland, but it got a little out of hand and got a lot more ambitious. Instead of 3 months, it took 27 months to make this (Supraland 1 has been in development for 16 months). It can be considered "Supraland 1.5" because there is still a lot of stuff from the first game, but at the same time it's a new world with a bunch of new mechanics. Fighting: If you are a fan of the first Supraland game, then you might be interested in the way of fighting in this new game. After learning a lot of lessons, the basic concept has been changed a lot and can still be considered experimental. We will definitely learn some more lessons from this game in the next game. Enemies are now more detached from puzzles and won't stand in your way there. All new types of enemies behave much differently from one another and there is no one-size-fits-all solution. I hope you like it!
